Paratrooper Creed

Paratrooper Creed
31 Aug 2015

I volunteered as a parachutist, i fully realising the hazards of my chosen the prestige, honor and high esprit-de-corps of the only volunteer branch

I realise that a parachutist is not merely a soldier who arrives by parachute that this country expects him to march farther and faster, to fight hard, better than any soldier. Parachutists of all allied armies belong together.

I shall never fail my fellow comrades by shirking any duty or training physically fit and shoulder my full share task, whatever it may be.

I shall always accord my superiors fullest loyalty, and I will always bear the men I will lead into battle

I shall show other soldiers by my military courtesy to my superior of neatness of dress, by my care of my weapons and equipment.

I shall endeavor always by my soldierly by appearance, military bearing and training and morale of parachute troops.

I shall respect the abilities of my enemies, I will fight fairly and with all.

I shall display a higher degree of initiative than is required of the other mission, though I be the lone survivor.

I shall prove my ability as a fighting man against the enemy on the field in arms or by braggingabout my deeds, thus needlessly arousing jealous.

I shall always realise that battles are won by an Army fighting as a teabag for others to follow and to carry the battle on.

I belong to the finest unit in the Army. By my appearance, Act, my fighting ability. I will strive to uphold the honor and prestige of my unit to which I belong

I BELONG TO A PROUD AND GLORIOUS TEAM - THE AIRBORNE, THE ARMY, MY COUNTRY

I AM IT`S CHOSEN PRIDE TO FIGHT WHERE OTHERS MAY NOT GO

TO SERVE THEN WELL UNTILL THE FINAL VICTORY

What I Am

What I Am

WHAT I AM   I BECAME THAT BREED OF SOLDIER THAT OTHERS WANTED TO BE, DEAMED OF AND ASPIRED TOO BUT NEVER BECAME. THIS HAS PLACED  ME APART AND MADE ME WHAT I AM TODAY !   I ACCEPTED THE PHYSICAL HARDSHIP, THE PSYCHOLOGICAL STRESS, THE BRUNT OF RESENTMENT AND THE EMOTIONAL STRAIN. THIS MADE ME STRONGER, TENACIOUS,PROUD AND LOYAL. THIS MADE ME WHAT I AM TODAY!   I HAVE
